Available dates: for Coffs Harbour 2012;  Maximum 6 paddlers.
September 15th - saturday 1pm - 4pm 
November 17th  - Saturday 9am - 12noon
                                                1pm - 4pm.

Dry land theory session:

Demonstrating in a simple and

effective way why a good

paddling technique is so

important. Includes a take

home information pack.

Kayak ergometer coaching:

Giving instant feedback via a

mirror the ergo enables the

paddler to correct each stroke

without the issue of balance.

On water coaching.

Drills, stroke correction and

training session and video.

Video Analysis.

Flatwater Safety and Rescue course:


Do you want to feel confident in your kayak?

This is the course for you!

Suitable for sit on tops, recreational

Kayaks, touring and sea kayaks –suitable for beginners to intermediate.

The Mornings program……………………

Dry land session:

Introducing the spray-deck for sit in kayaks, how they fit and how to remove them when capsized.

Demonstrating low supports strokes, how to hold the paddle and what to do with it, how the body should react.

On Water Session:

For those never used a spraydeck a capsize and we exit under controlled conditions to gain confidence. Bracing low support bracing and how it can prevent a capsize.

Assisted rescues: how to help someone else re-enter there kayak safely.

Solo rescues: how to get yourself back onto or into your kayak on your own.

Paddle float re-entry

Towing and rafting.

Rescue and safety course for Flatwater:

Do you want to Improve your Paddle Skills:

 
1 Day Course: Dates: Sunday 16th September 2012
                                            Sunday 18th November 2012
                                 Cost: $100 per person ( must have own equipment.)
                                                 Where: Boambee Creek Reserve ( off Sawtell Rd Sawtell: there is a $5 entry fee to reserve).
 
Maximum 12 paddlers per course: book NOW to reserve your place.
 
 

KAREN DALLAS, flat-water , sea-kayak Level 2 Instructor and AC Assessor, with  AMANDA RANKIN, Olympian, World Champion sprint kayaking  medallist, and Flat water Kayak Coach will be joining forces to share their passion and infinite  expertise in all aspects of paddling.

Whatever your goals, this course will most definitely equip you with new skills to expand your paddling horizons.
